Deo Ca tunnel is a national key traffic work, recognized by the Ministry of Construction as one of the five typical national works on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Vietnam’s traditional day of the Construction industry.
Deo Ca tunnel project has a total length of 13,190m, starting from Km1353+150 (National Road 1A) in Hoa Xuan Nam commune, Dong Hoa district (Phu Yen province) and ending at Km1374+525 in Van Tho commune, Van district Ninh (Khanh Hoa province). In which, Deo Ca tunnel is 4,125m long, Co Ma tunnel is 500m long and 8,565m of leading roads. Each tunnel system has two parallel tunnels designed 30m apart, each tunnel is 9.75m wide including two lanes, safety strip and tunnel maintenance corridor,the designed speed is 80km/h.
The project started on November 18, 2012. After more than 4 years of effort and overcoming many challenges, by the beginning of September 2017, the project was not only completed but also 4 months ahead of schedule. After putting the tunnel into operation, the travel time through the tunnel is only 10 minutes instead of 45 minutes when going on Ca pass. At the same time, the traffic congestion and accident black spots on the pass road are eliminated.

Cu Mong Tunnel Construction Project, which connects Binh Dinh and Phu Yen provinces, has a total length of 6,62km including 2.600m of the tunnel length and 4.020m of the path length. The starting point of the project is at Km1239+119 of National Roadway 1 (in Binh Dinh) and the end point of that at Km1247+739 of National Roadway 1 (in Phu Yen). Two bridges of the project are 36m long. The path is designed according to road standards of Grade III (TCVN 4054-2005) with the design speed is 80km/h.

The project had been started in 2016 and invested in 2 phases. In phase 1, upgrading, repairing Hai Van 1 tunnel and repairing the road through Hai Van pass. The construction term is from April 2016 to August 2017. In phase 2, implementing construction and expansion of Hai Van 2 tunnel with a total length of more than 12.6km. The construction term is from December 2016 to January 2021. In the transport development strategy of the Government until 2020 with the vision until 2030, the development orientation of road transport infrastructure gives priority for investment in upgrading and expanding National Roadway 1A, which is expected to be largely completed in 2015 and fully completed in 2020. One of them is the National Roadway 1 Expansion Project of Sections Km1374+525 – Km1392 and Km1405 – Km1425 (in Khanh Hoa province).
The project was started building on May 26, 2013 in Co Ma village, Van Tho commune, Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province. The total length of the project is 37,5km (excluding the section Km1392 – Km1405 through Van Gia town). The starting point of the project is at Km1374 + 525 in Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa (bordering on the end point of Deo Ca Tunnel Project). The end point of that is at Km1425 in Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Hoa. The direction of the project is aligned National Roadway 1. There are 18 bridges of the whole project with a total length of 575,45m.

Trung Luong – My Thuan expressway project has the starting point at Than Cuu Nghia intersection (prolongs Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong Expressway) and the end point crosses with National Road 30 at An Thai Trung intersection (the north of My Thuan Bridge intersection, Cai Be District, Tien Giang Province). Total length of the whole route is 51.5km.
The project was first started in 2009, but because the old investor was incompetent and the capital was not promtly arranged, the project was terminated for nearly 10 years. In March 2019, the project investor consortium invited Deo Ca Group to participate in management and administration to remove obstacles and continue implementing the project.
Under the management and administration of Deo Ca Group, Trung Luong – My Thuan Expressway was connected, meeting the guidance of the Prime Minister (to open before December 31, 2020). Currently, the project is in the sprint phase to be completed by the end of 2021.
The completion of Trung Luong – My Thuan Expressway will shorten the travel time from Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta provinces, as well as solve the overload for National Road 1A.

The route is designed under expressway standards. In the first investment phase, the expressway has a scale of 4 lanes, the roadbed is 17m wide with a design speed of 80km/h. Nui Vung tunnel item has a length of 2.2km, designed with 3 lanes and 14m wide, the fourth largest in the country after Hai Van, Deo Ca and Cu Mong tunnels. The project also has bridges and interchanges (overpass or underpass). In the completion phase, the scale will be up to 6 lanes, the width of the roadbed is 32.35m.

Dong Dang – Tra Linh Expressway Construction Investment Project has a total length of 115km and a design speed of 80km/h. The starting point of the project is at Km0+00, which is the intersection of Tan Thanh border gate area, Van Lang district, Lang Son province. The end point of that is at Km115+00, which is in Tra Linh border gate area, Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province.
The project is invested in two phases. In the first phase from now to 2024, it has been invested about 93km of the expressway from Lang Son to Quang Hoa district (Cao Bang) with 17m wide road-bed. In the second phase after 2025, it is going to be invested in about 22 km of the expressway to Tra Linh border gate (Cao Bang).
Currently, the distance from Hanoi capital to Cao Bang is 280km long, which takes about from 5 to 6 hours to travel by car. Tan Phu – Bao Loc Expressway Construction Investment Project has a total length of 67km and a design speed of 80km/h. The starting point of the project is at Km59+594, which is intersecting with National Roadway 20 at Km69+400 in Phu Trung commune, Tan Phu district, Dong Nai province. The end point of that is at Km126+360, which is intersecting with Nguyen Van Cu street, Bao Loc city, Lam Dong province. It, which is in the planning of Dau Giay – Lien Khuong Expressway, is the first project in Vietnam implemented under the public-private partnership method after the Law on public-private partnership investment came into effect.
