On July 20, 2022, Da Nang City Police coordinated with Deo Ca Traffic Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company (HHV) to organize the conference assessing the implementation of the coordination regulations in the first six months of 2022.

The conference was attended by Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Nho Chinh – Head of the Economic Security Department, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tu – Deputy Head of the Staff Department, and representatives of some other police departments in the city, Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy – General Director of HHV, Mr. Vo Ngoc Trung – Deputy General Director of HHV, specialized departments and Hai Van Tunnel Management and Operation Enterprise.

Accordingly, in the first six months of 2022, traffic volume through the Tunnel increased by 11% over the same period last year. From January 1, 2022, to June 30, 2022, there were ten accidents in the Tunnel and on the North-South route. The firefighting and rescue force of Hai Van Tunnel Management and Operation Enterprise promptly handled them, so there was not much damage. These accidents were caused by the driver’s subjective error and did not cause severe consequences for the structure.

Generally, compliance with the coordination regulations in the past time has contributed to ensuring traffic safety in the Tunnel and the routes.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy shared: “After six months of implementing the regulations, HHV and Da Nang City Police have achieved certain results. In the coming time, we will continue coordinating well with local authorities to ensure security and order, traffic safety, and carry out all-people movements for fire prevention and fighting.”

Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Nho Chinh highly appreciated the implementation of the regulations. He also suggested: “In the future, when making the report, it is necessary to state difficulties to learn from and enhance efficiency.”

In the coming time, Da Nang City Police and HHV will implement the coordination regulations well and stick to the actual situation to adjust the regulations.
