The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic caused many businesses to go bankrupt or get exhausted. However, Deo Ca people, with the spirit of both fighting the Covid-19 and working to ensure the activities plan of Deo Ca Group, still move and maintain the construction progress.

In Quang Ninh province, Cua Luc 1 Bridge Project was started more than one year ago, so far, about 85% of the project progress has been completed as a result of non-stop working of employees on the construction site irrespective of the cold winter or hot summer. Everyone who expected completion of the Project in December 2021 is racing against time.

In the days of July, the summer sunshine is like fire. Engineers and workers were all drenched in sweat. However, they, who did not lose their heart, were still putting aside the homesickness to passionately working on the construction site. That is in order to realize the completion of the Project on schedule, quality and safety.

Mr. Cao Ngoc Nam – Deputy General Management of Deo Ca Group said: “In order to ensure the building progress as well as prevent the Covid-19 epidemic, it has been a long time since we have not return home. As a result of the simultaneous construction of the main girder and steel arch of each span, we have now completed the girder and arch of 90m main span and are stretching the cable. It is expected that by the end of September, all 5 main girder and steel arches will be completed to shift to the finish. Other items, such as bridges on routes and paths, will be simultaneously built with the main bridge. The ultimate goal is to complete Cua Luc 1 Bridge Project in December 2021”.

Also in Quang Ninh, Bao Bien Tunnel Project, connects Ha Long and Cam Pha, is the first and largest road tunnel in Quang Ninh today. Although the construction faces many difficulties, such as the Project going through a limestone mountain with many caster caves and non-monolithic rocks with discrete structures, the Covid-19 epidemic negatively affected the supplication of machinery and labor,… But the Deo Ca workers have gradually overcome difficulties. After more than half a year of non-stop construction, the last drills were completed, both tunnels were officially technical tunneled on July 23, 2021. In the coming time, the wall and inverted arch, tunnel cover, tunnel surface of the Project will be built… with the expectation of completion of Bao Bien Tunnel by December 2021.

In Thanh Hoa province, Thung Thi Tunnel of Mai Son – National Road 45 Expressway Project was built day and night in the mountain by engineers and workers. Currently, the excavation and reinforcement of the right tunnel reaches 196.5m, the left branch reaches 147m, ahead of schedule.
