On March 21, 2023, the fire protection crews of Hai Van Tunnels and Phuoc Tuong – Phu Gia (PTPG) Tunnels promptly supported extinguishing the fire at Chan May Port Industrial Park, Thua Thien Hue province.

Accordingly, at 7:20 a.m. on the same day, Thua Thien Hue’s Fire Police Department requested HHV Company to support fire fighting at the Central One One Company in Chan May Industrial Park, Phu Loc District, Thua Thien Hue Province. The Hai Van tunnel and PTPG tunnel fire protection crews immediately joined the rescue.

After only 20 minutes of receiving the fire alarm, HHV firefighting and rescue forces were at the scene and deployed a firefighting squad. At this time, the fire broke out fiercely, black smoke covered the entire factory area with a height of more than 80m. By about 9:30 a.m., the fire was basically controlled. HHV firefighting and rescue forces withdrew to continue their operational duties.
